Guardian of the Galaxy vol. 2

The other day I went to see Guardian of the Galaxy Vol.2, I went with high expectations since I really really liked the first one, I found it funny, well direct, with good photography. And I happily have to say that the movie reached my expectations and more!

It sets to the backdrop of ‘Awesome Mixtape #2,’ Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 continues the team’s adventures as they traverse the outer reaches of the universe. The Guardians must fight to keep their newfound family together while unraveling the mysteries of Peter Quill’s true parentage. Old foes become new allies, new foes arrive.

Great script, good acting, great special effect, good photography, awesome set design.

This movie has awesome timing for  jokes and comedy and a great balance between comedy, drama and action. You are never bored, always captivated by the story. The opening scene is one of the bests that I saw lately. It is a fighting scene, but for the majority of it you hear the fight and what is happening on it, you have no trouble to follow what is happening, but the camera is on baby Groot that is innocently and obliviously dancing around.

To be honest, even if in this film there are some incredible camera movement and light effect, I prefer the photography of the first movie, probably because the first movie was lighter in special effects and CGI  than this one.

And as my favorite character would says:

I am Groot!
